The best part was "there's no calorie counting, no cutting carbs" in her diet plan. Just common sense eating and proper routine.
In this article I am going to share her plan with you.
The secret behind her success : Strength training with proper nutrition. So ladies who are still shy about using weights and spend hours jogging on treadmill doing cardio. This article should give you good enough idea what actually works.
Her trainer Harley Pasternak recommended her 25-30 minutes workout for 5 days a week. which includes the 5 minute warm up and 5 minute cool down. The actual workout is around 15-20 minutes Only. Now don't you think this is a big surprise for people who advocates at least an hour daily.
1. First step - Warm Up
The Idea behind warm up is to get the blood pumping into your viens, elevate your heart beat rate and warm up your muscles and tendons. 5 minute on bike, treadmill gives you good enough warm up to start out with.
2. Upper body training
Exercises like Rows, chest flies and chess presses rule the upper body section.
3. Lower Body workout
This include at least one of the leg exercises like Squats or lunges.
4. Working on your core
Ab strengthening exercises will help on improve your abs and mid section. In this section She varied her exercises often.
5. 5 minute cool down
After all the workout, we need a cool down with some stretching
Why this kind of program works?
As you become stronger, weights and sets increase while the repetitions per set decrease. "When the program is constantly morphing, your body is too," he adds. The workouts are always altered to make it more challenging.
My Opinion on a workout like this?
I often suggest women about the weight training. There's no better way to get fit, improve your strength, improve your cardio vascular and lose fat quickly. I prefer using full body training 4 - 5 days. Shifting from weights to bodyweight calisthenics to kettlebell. I prefer lots of variety while workout. Of course your diet and nutrition plays an important part in this too.
In the end The basic Idea is Strength training + Nutrition Plan = Mad Success.
