Lose Weight by Drinking Whole Milk

Would you believe me if I told you that the first lifestyle change I made that led to me losing weight was switching to whole milk?

The more you try to think that I've gone too far here, the more sense it will make...

In January, I changed my mind.

I gave up restricting myself. I stopped suffering in diet to diet and changed my life and eating habits in one simple way: eat when hungry, stop when full. Cutting calories in your beverages will only leave you more hungry! Drinking diet sodas and non-fat milk will cause you to eat more. For me, the calories saved by diet soda didn't outweigh the over-sized meals I would eat to replace them. Perhaps you feel the same?

The Got Milk(tm) campaign started with Whole Milk; it is good for you.

When I would eat cookies and skim milk, I'd eat a whole sleeve of cookies!

When I switched back to whole milk I made it a point to truly recognize that something new was going to be entering my body regularly.

Immediately as I switched, my body and I recognized the new influx of calories and I felt fuller, faster, everytime I drank milk. Now I am completely full and satisfied with 2 to 3 cookies and a cup of milk. I actually feel pretty much as good as one can possibly feel, with both stomach and mind satisfied.

STOMACH AND MIND, SATISFIED. That does sound nice, and living that way is even nicer.

All of my tactics are designed towards achieving one goal: my stomach shrinking.

If I calorie shift, and feel genuinely full sooner, while eating less food, then my stomach will shrink and I will lose weight.

So far, every tip I have shared has gotten me there. And that's that. One woman's journey down...
